Update from the Fishers Green Fishery Manager Unfortunately, The pylon contractor for the National Grid (Morrisons) have now informed the Consortium that they will not complete the works by the forecasted date of October 2nd. With the River section upstream of the Bailey Bridge due to open on Saturday 3rd October a Work Party has been planned for that day. The Swims on Langridge Lake will also need work doing. If you are able to help please contact the Fishery manager, Peter Durrant via the Fishers Green Facebook Page.

Fishers Green Consortium River Lea Update Due to the change in the forecast weather the river will be open again on the 1st of September including lure fishing to the lakes. Fishery Closure Notice Due to critically low water levels and reduced oxygen levels, the river is closed to all fishing with immediate effect until further notice. To help protect the welfare of the fish, this closure also includes all pike lure fishing on the lakes and the relief channel. Conditions will be monitored closely, and the situation will be reviewed on a daily basis. We will provide updates as soon as it is safe to reopen. We appreciate your understanding and coop
