WORK PARTY CANCELLED - Fishers Green Consortium

Update from the Fishers Green Fishery Manager

Unfortunately, The pylon contractor for the National Grid (Morrisons) have now informed the Consortium that they will not complete the works by the forecasted date of October 2nd.

As frustrating as this may be the Consortium and clubs involved have little control over the matter, and a formal complaint to the Lea Valley Parks & The National Grid will be made as a result of this inconvenience, alongside a compensation claim for loss of facility access.

Given the the ongoing disruption, any further arrangements with regards to work parties will be postponed until the fishery manager knows for certain when the contractors are vacating Fishers Green.
